What we do
One product idea.
Magnetic resonance imaging has been defined for forty years by the room it sits in: shielded, reinforced, cryogenically cooled, and effectively immovable. Our work is about removing those constraints one at a time, so that the machine can go to the patient instead of the other way round.
That means permanent magnets instead of superconducting ones, noise cancellation that keeps the shielding to a modular enclosure, and reconstruction algorithms that trade computation for the signal-to-noise the hardware does not provide.
